The Procedure

The process itself involves the use of a chemical called Botulinum Toxin (Botox), which is injected into various regions around your face.
The Botox then lifts the muscles around the eyes, sort of tightening them around your eyes to lift the brows back to their original position. As these muscles get tighter, you will find that your brows are high and look like you haven’t aged a day. 

Assessments

Considering the minimally invasive nature of the procedure, it’s not a very comprehensive check-up that you will have to go through before your Botox lift. When you visit your cosmetic surgeon, they will conduct some regular tests like check your blood pressure, temperature and they will ask you to stop taking medications like blood thinners and aspirin.

They will then identify regions which require a lift and mark out these areas on your face as identifying where the Botox needs to be injected. They will call you in some time later for your procedure, where they will inject Botox and you can go home immediately afterwards.

Effectiveness

The effects of Botox aren’t immediate so don’t be disheartened if you don’t see the effects as soon as you step out of your doctor’s office. The effects will become apparent within 4-5 days of the initial injection and it will take full effect within 2 weeks of your of the treatment.
